The first section we want to add is the inner layer section. 

Click the 'ADD' button. 

Input the name for the new section, and click 'OK'. 

Now check and modify the settings needed for the inner layer Gerber file

Our example needs the following settings: 

Output - assign the suffix .ly2 

Mirror off - this flag is only on for layers that refer to the bottom side 

Layer selection - activate/deactivate the layers as needed 

Active in this section are: 2 Layer2, 17 Pads, and 18 Vias.
