Many board houses prefer the RS274X format, which is also
called 'Extended Gerber'.
The difference to the 'old' Gerber format is that it is not necessary
to generate a wheel file. The aperture definition is part of the data
file.
This simplifies matters, because you do not need to worry about a
separate wheel file.
For a 2-layer board you can use a pre-defined CAM processor
job file.
After starting the CAM processor
Load the related BRD file via FILE/OPEN/BOARD.
Load the file 'gerb274x.cam' via FILE/OPEN/JOB.
Start the job by clicking 'Process Job'.
This job does basically the same as the 'gerber.cam' job (Generating Gerber Files), with one exception:
There is no separate wheel file, since the aperture information is
stored in the data file.
